A .300 (EXTRA-LONG) SINGLE-SHOT TARGET-RIFLE, POSSIBLY A MODEL '10' or 'MILITARY MINIATURE PATTERN', serial no. 56235,
circa 1935, fitted with a shorter than usual lighter weight 25 1/2in. barrel, block and dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, maker's address details and cartridge name at breech, slab-sided receiver broadening at the front with the BSA 'Piled Arms' trademark stamped on the left hand side (rubbed), wrist drilled for peep-sight (absent), walnut butt-stock (missing heel-plate), walnut half-length splinter fore-end, action an older refinish
