A 54-BORE PERCUSSION REVOLVER, SIGNATURE OBSCURED, MODEL 'ADAM'S PATENT', serial number obscured (4924),
circa 1858, and almost certainly retailed by F.T Baker, with 5 3/4in. octagonal barrel, traces of an '88 FLEET ST.' address to top-strap and barrel, blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, borderline engraved solid frame with traces of patent and serial number details to right hand side, sliding safe behind the plain five-shot cylinder, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip with screw possibly plugging a lanyard aperture to lower half, domed iron butt-cap numbered '4924', guarded double action trigger and hinged rammer to left side of barrel, the whole heavily cleaned and re-blued with some pitting below the finish
