circa 1856, with round 39in. refinished barrel signed at breech 'J.D DOUGALL' and again forwards of the ladder rear-sight '59 ST JAMES ST LONDON' (all faint), block and blade fore-sight, commercial proofs, borderline engraved bar-action lock signed 'J.D. DOUGALL' (lightly cleaned) chequered walnut full-stock, brass furniture and replacement ramrod (iron surfaces with some shallow pitting).
