SAUERBREY IN BASEL', tunnel fore-sight, blanked off dove-tail for rear-sight, moulded nipple snail with removable plug and high fence, hand-detachable bar-action hump-backed lock with dipped tail (traces of colour), colour hardened top-tang mounted with pan-faced peep-sight, walnut full-stock finely chequered at the wrist, raised cheek-piece, brass Swiss-style heel-plate with iron acorn heel-finial, complex brass quick release trigger-guard with 'hogs-bristle' double set trigger, brass inlaid band to underside of fore-end drilled for a hand-stop (absent), moulded ramrod channel, iron stirrup swivels and brass mushroom-headed ramrod
