ENGLAND.' and with flashes of scroll engraving at the breech ends, the ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke (both), scroll-back actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, rolled-edge triggerguards, floral and scroll engraving with beaded borders, the undersides with 'THE CHATSWORTH', brushed bright finish (No.1), No.2 retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. figured stocks, bolstered fore-end woods, weight 6lb. 8oz.
