circa 1862, with round 6in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, plain cylinder numbered '866' (indexing star cleaned or possibly replaced), hinged frame, central hammer with rear-sight notch to nose, selectable trigger, smooth walnut one-piece grip and articulated under-barrel rammer, the whole retaining traces of original finish
