25in. nitro chopperlump barrels with fine acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends and with matt sight rib, open sights and three folding leaf sights, ramp-mounted bead foresight with fold-over protector / moonsight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-C 1,5...4,5x18 telescopic sight, serial no. 201648, in quickly-detachable mounts, treble-grip action with side-bolsters, elongated top strap with manual bolted safety, rolled-edge triggerguard, fine and bold acanthus scroll detailing, the lockplates signed in script 'Gastinne Renette', the underside with a vignette of a charging bull elephant, finely carved in high relief and signed 'S.H. de F.', the triggerplate signed 'LEUNEN. J.', bright finish overall, 14 3/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and including 1in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with grip-catch release lever and ejector/non-ejector selector switch, weight 10lb. 15oz.
