each barrel with individual unchequered schnabel fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release, carved en suite, and with ejector/non-ejector selector switches, Jaeger patent 'verticalblockverschluss' action with sprung breech face, carved fences, manual safety, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, set front trigger, the action and furniture engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork with floral bouquets and individual gold-inlaid roses, the lockplates finely engraved in bulino style with savannah scenes, to the left a lion and lioness attacking a buffalo, to the right a black rhino and guinea fowl, the underside with a charging bull elephant, bright finish overall, 14 3/8in. highly-figured unchequered pistolgrip stock with fluted grip, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap and including 1/2in. recoil pad, weight 8lb. 12oz. (unscoped, .470 barrels) and 9lb. 15oz. (with scope), weight 7lb. 14oz. (unscoped, .300 WM barrels) and 9lb. (with scope), weight 6lb. 11oz.
