A GOOD CASED PAIR OF 6mm (FLOBERT) SINGLE-SHOT GALLERY PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, serial no's. 2878,
Belgian circa 1880, with blued octagonal heavy 9 1/2in. barrels, polished and dished muzzles, raised ramp with adjustable beaded blade fore-sights, elevating tangent rear-sight, central hammer with integral rolling breech, colour hardened frames, chequered walnut half-stocks with colour hardened butt-caps and spurred trigger-guards, plain triggers and much original finish throughout, complete with a walnut fitted case lined and compartmented in the Continental style for these pistols and a cleaning rod, circular depression for an ammunition tin, the inside of lid marked 'DEPOT DE PARIS, AMEDEE MAQUAIRE DIRECTEUR, 5 BOUL DE STRASBOURG', with key
