circa 1870, with blued round 6 1/8in. barrel signed in script on the top 'E LEFAUCHEUX BTE A' PARIS', dove-tailed fore-sight, rear-sight notch to hammer nose, octagonal profile barrel-mount, plunge ejector, plain blued six-shot cylinder, colour hardened open iron frame, spurred hammer, finger-spur guarded single action trigger smooth walnut grips, faceted iron pommel and central lanyard ring, strong amount of original finish and faded colour present
