EDINBURGH PATENT NOS. 1471 AND 367', the underside of the barrel engraved 'A.H. 2169' and with some external pitting, non-rebounding cranked back-action lock with bolted hammer, signed 'JOHN DICKSON & SON.', action and furniture with fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining some renewed finish and traces of colour-hardening, 13 3/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, steel pistolgrip-cap, bolstered fore-end wood with horn finial and crosspin release catch,
