29 3/4in. fine damascus barrels by Leclere Freres, the rib gold-inlaid 'PRELAT A PARIS', possible conversion from Pauly capping breech loader with raised fences, the pinfire apertures replacing percussion nipples, Lefaucheux forward facing underlever with chequerboard engraving to the thumbpiece, elongated top strap, scrolled bow triggerguard (front trigger broken), back-action island locks, bold stylised foliate scroll engraving, the lockplates gold-inlaid with ovals with 'PRELAT A PARIS' and two gold stars, 14 3/8in. birds eye maple stock, steel buttplate with back strap, diminutive fore-end with cross-pin catch and horn finial.
