A RARE 7mm (CANE) TWIST AND PULL GARDEN GUN, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Belgian or French circa 1875, with nickel-plated two-stage 18 3/4in. smoothbore barrel, the first stage of the barrel knurled for grip and twisting sideways to pull forward to cock and load, concealed 'walking stick gun' style breech, bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight inlet into the walnut half-stock, cast metal chequered heel-plate with a central raised trademark of a hunting dog and complex trigger-guard bow with traces of nickel-plate
