circa 1895, with blued octagonal 26in. barrel, dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, scroll engraving and band at breech, blued borderline and scroll engraved open iron frame, push button barrel lock to underside of receiver, central hammer, chequered walnut pistol grip butt-stock, iron heel-plate, guarded trigger and no provision for fore-end, much original finish throughout
