A 60-BORE PERCUSSION FOUR-BARRELLED TURN-OVER TRAVELLING PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1835, with 3 1/2in. squared barrel-group, two full-length moulded ribs signed 'E & W BOND 45 CORNHILL LONDON', the side-ribs pinched at the breech to clear the platinum vented plugs and stamped with London proofs, slightly radiused boxlock action with border and scroll engraved action, both engraved dolphin headed hammers with sliding safes to rear, finely chequered bag-shaped walnut butt (worn), white-metal butt-cap with provision for lanyard ring (absent) and square fronted iron trigger-guard sliding to release the barrels
