A 32-BORE PERCUSSION RIFLED OVER-UNDER OVERCOAT PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1845, with wire-twist damascus 3 1/2in. scratch-rifled barrels, the muzzles decorated on the face with a series of punched rings, moulded nipple-bosses with shallow fences, engraved top-tang signed in gilt within a gilt oval border 'PLOMDEUR BTE A' PARIS', border and scroll engraved isolated back-action locks, engraved 'C' shaped hammers, smooth walnut butt-stock with inline trap for caps incorporated into the heel of the grip-straps and guarded double triggers
