circa 1845, with round browned 9in. barrels, flat sighting planes signed 'LACY & CO, LONDON, bead fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights to the scroll engraved top-tangs, squared patent breeches with white metal plugs, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'LACY & CO', sliding safes behind hammers, walnut full-stocks with chequered pistol-grip butts, iron pommel-caps with central trapdoors, plain triggers and captive iron stirrup ramrods, (one pistol missing bolted safe and chipped behind lock, the other missing spur from hammer, side nail and stirrup for captive rammer at fault)
