A .650 PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED OFFICER'S PISTOL WITH SPRUNG BAYONET, no visible serial number,
circa 1840, with 7in. side-by-side barrels, the top rib signed 'COLLINS, 12 VIGO STREET LONDON' and mounted with a concave faced triangular cross-section sprung iron bayonet retained via a catch to the tang, moulded snails with platinum vents, twin platinum lined at breech, acanthus scroll engraved bar-action locks, en-suite hammers with sliding safes behind, walnut full-stock, chequered bag-shaped grip, guarded double triggers and captive iron ramrod, some loss to fine detail, some heavy corrosion
