AN 80-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-SHOT PARK-RIFLE, no visible serial number,
circa 1840, with octagonal 29in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'CONWAY, BLACKFRIARS ST. MANCHESTER', white metal fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, engraved top-tang and breech block with nickel plug, signed and engraved bar-action lock (signature rubbed), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture including lower tang with pistol-grip spur, single set trigger (at fault) and possible period iron ramrod
