A 54-BORE FLINTLOCK ALL BRASS SIDE-BY-SIDE TAP-ACTION BOXLOCK POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1780, with banded turn-off 2in. cannon barrels numbered '1' and '2', false rifling at the muzzles, borderline engraved breech-blocks also numbered and with London proofs, florally engraved iron tap, plain borderline engraved squared action signed in script 'TWIGG' on the right and 'LONDON' on the left, central cock, broad frizzen with individual pans, and slab-sided walnut butt fully chequered around the back edge and heel, iron trigger guard bow
