A 28-BORE FLINTLOCK WHITE METAL AND GILT KOFTGARI DECORATED HOLSTER-PISTOL FOR THE INDO-PERSIAN MARKET, UNSIGNED,
circa 1795, with finely watered round tapering 10in. barrel, gilded bulbous muzzle with a gilt band and panel of koftgari work behind, carved central rib to top of barrel, further koftgari-work to the breech and top-tang, plain radiused European style lock with semi rainproof pan, walnut full-stock with white-metal cap to the birdshead butt featuring a carved and raised central daisy-petal device and a carved saw-tooth border, both sides of the grip with inlet white metal geometric panels, complex nielloed escutcheon at wrist, full sized pierced floral white metal sideplate and full-length white metal ramrod pipe with brass tipped iron ramrod
