circa 1795, with plain round flaring 15 3/4in. barrel, the top at breech signed 'LONDON', London proofs and an 'R.W.' maker's stamp, iron top-tang, radiused borderline engraved military style lock (unsigned or possibly signature erased), swan-neck cock, walnut hand-rail full-stock (old blind crack at wrist), brass furniture including twin nailed side-plate and possible original brass-faced wood ramrod (fore-end with small losses at muzzle)
