A LATE EDO-PERIOD MOUNTED JAPANESE TANTO DAGGER,
early to mid 19th century, with possibly shortened unsigned 10in. curved blade (cleaned, some staining), copper 'habaki', small brass 'tsuba' (loose), cloth bound rayskin hilt and dark red mottled laquer covering to scabbard with pocket for 'kozuka' (missing)
