26in. nitro barrels (Belgian proofed) with stippled raised rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, some dents, side-clipped action with ornate carved leaf fences, toplever carved in relief 'JINDR. HOLECEK', removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'Z' detail, cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the lockplates signed 'JINDR. HOLECEK', the underside with 'PATENT JINDR. HOLECEK', brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 3/8in. boldly-figured stock including wooden buttplate, the stock inset toward the toe with a Payne Gallwey style 'game counting apparatus', patent design number 4083 of 31st March 1885, fore-end inset with a gold-inlaid crest (some wear and damage to gold inlay), weight 5lb. 14oz., in a canvas motor case
