circa 1919, with exposed blued 4 1/2in. barrel, sighting rib with blade fore-sight, open slide with cocking piece to rear and incorporating the notch rear-sight, the left side of slide marked variously 'AUTOMATIC PISTOL "STAR" PATENT FOR THE 7.65MM CARTRIDGE', and 'STAR' with a starburst trademark and ''CAL 7.65', exposed hammer, blued frame and chequered walnut grips, complete with its double oil-bottle
