dated for 1887, with 33 1/2in. blued barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, sold out of service marks to the breech and side of action, small tear-drop cocking indicator, walnut straight-hand stock with moulded iron wrist-piece, long under-lever, walnut three-quarter fore-end, two iron barrel-bands, the front with bayonet lug, iron nose-cap and under-barrel clearing rod
