circa 1880, the cane 35 1/2in. overall, with tap-loading 17 1/2in. rifled barrel (missing nose-cap), concealed button trigger, detachable straight air reservoir, the end fitted with a horn bun pommel, later deliberately aged finish, together with its original stirrup pump (pitted externally), mould and home produced key
