for 1855, with 7 1/2in. octagonal barrel numbered 20633 signed 'COLT LONDON' (remainder erased), the left side of breech with 'WD' and broad arrow stamp with inspector 'TP' mark, London proofs, plain cylinder deliberately scrubbed of cylinder scene and London proofed, open iron frame (numbered 80864) with traces of 'COLT PATENT' mark, iron trigger-guard and grip-straps numbered 34354, smooth walnut grip and articulated rammer below the barrel, dome head London screws where appropriate throughout
