A 180-BORE PERCUSSION MUFF-PISTOL OF SMALL SIZE, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably Belgian circa 1840, with rifled 1 1/8in. turn-off brushed bright round barrel, carved nipple bolster, ivy-leaf engraved squared and brushed bright boxlock action with off-set central hammer, concealed folding trigger, smooth bag-shaped ivory grip (lower tang screws replaced) and presented in a later wood storage case lined in blue baize.
