Spanish barrel banded and engraved at the intersection with traces of gilt inlay, bead fore-sight, gilded Spanish makers cartouches and fleur-de-lys quality marks at breech, slightly curved, flat, bevel-edged stepped tail lockplate signed forwards of the hammer in script 'H.W. MORTIMER & CO', gilded rainproof pan, roller frizzen, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist (crack below the lock), raised cheek-piece, iron furniture including scrolled pistol-grip lower tang, vase finial, horn fore-end tip and replacement ramrod
