circa 1800, fully scrimshawed with mainly royal coat of arms including George III and possibly the House of Habsburg but with many other smaller devices, some vacant, possibly unfinished, and various shield shapes with initials, age flaking and wear to outer edge with resultant loss to detail, metal charge-cup to nozzle and wood plug to base, one suspension ring absent
