circa 1944, with 6 5/8in. stiletto blade possibly cleaned of black finish, the forte etched on one side with the 'WILKINSON SWORD CO. LTD LONDON' behind crossed sword trade-mark, the reverse etched with the name of the knife, blacked iron boat-shaped cross-guard, finely machine chequered brass hilt with traces of coppering and bun nut pommel, complete with its brown leather sleeve scabbard with twin leather tabs, nickel chape and 'Newey' press-stud retainer (central portion of belt loop absent, top with user-made buttonhole
