29in. Whitworth-steel nitro chopperlump barrels (No.1 reproved, wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, No.2 sleeved), engraved ribs, No.1 indistinct, No.2 with 'J. BLANCH & SON. 29. GRACECHURCH STREET. LONDON. "CENTENNIAL MODEL" WHITWORTH STEEL', 2 1/2in. chambers (No.1) and 2 3/4in. chambers (No.2), bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke (No.1) and 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.2), treble-grip actions with patent gas checks, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the lockplates with extended gold alignment marks, profusely engraved with best stylised floral and acanthus motifs with ornate bordering and on a matted background, the lockplates with the makers name in scrolling banners, the triggerguards engraved with roman numerals MCMXI (1911), No.2 small fracture at bridge, bright finish, 15 1/2in. figured stocks, No.1 including 1 5/8in. wooden extension, No.2 a replacement, fore-ends with J.
