25 1/2in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2015) with wooden side-fillets, matt rib with open sights and bead foresight, the breech end with quickly-detachable telescopic sight mount bases, 2 3/4in. shot chamber, bored approx. full choke, hold-open toplever carved with a ram's head, gold pin cocking-indicators, set front trigger, the action and furniture deeply and ornately carved with stylised fir motifs on a matt background, interspersed with vignettes of an ibex on the triggerguard, the underside with St. Hubert and the Hubertus Hirsch with the crucifix detailed in gold, the barrel breech ends with an eagle on the left, a pair of beavers on the right, the decorative sideplates deeply carved with wolves baying at two silvertip bears in a forest on the left, the right sideplate with a woodland scene of a pack of wolves attacking a bull moose whilst the female flees, signed 'G. Stoegner', 14 1/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with fish-scale chequering, fore-end chipped right edge, weight 7lb. 6oz.
