A .450/.455 SIX-SHOT TARGET-REVOLVER, MODEL 'WG TARGET', serial no. 22103,
circa 1912, with blued 7 1/2in. barrel, blued break-open frame with automatic ejection and stirrup-latch locking catch with drift adjustable rear-sight blade, late large diameter blued fluted cylinder for smokeless powders, flared chequered walnut grips, lanyard ring to heel, the whole retaining a strong amount of original finish

Other Notes: Originally retailed by Army & Navy, this revolver was purchased by Lieut. Banister of the 3/King's Shropshire Light Infantry on the 19th August, 1914. We are gratefully indebted to armsresearch.co.uk for this information
