WEBLEY & SCOTT
A RARE 9mm (B/L) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL '1909', serial no. 114445,
for 1914, with semi-exposed 5in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, blued slide marked 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD LONDON & BIRMINGHAM 9m/m AUTOMATIC PISTOL' along with the 'winged bullet' trademark, top ejection, push-button slide release, adjustable rear-sight, blued frame, polished exposed hammer, grip safety to the back-strap, black chequered hard-rubber grip to the left hand side, right hand side missing but grip screw present, polished trigger-guard, heel magazine release and blued lanyard ring, the whole retaining nearly all its original finish, missing magazine

Other Notes: Factory records show this was one of a batch of 100 pistols that left the factory on 30th March, 1914. Only 1694 pistols were produced.
