A RARE .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR SENIOR STRAIGHT-GRIP', serial no. S1510,
circa 1931, with 7in. rifled barrel, blued stepped air-chamber, the right hand side marked 'A.F. STOEGER INC' together with 'NEW YORK', 'SOLE U.S. AGENTS' and 'USA PATD JULY 7 1925', the left side with 'BRITISH PATENT 219872' over 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD. BIRMINGHAM' and 'THE WEBLEY SENIOR, MADE IN ENGLAND', three pin trigger group and chequered walnut grips with the Webley 'winged bullet' trademark medallion inlet into the left hand example, the whole being an older faded re-finish
