A SCARCE BOXED .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'MKII TARGET', serial no. 36870,
circa 1928, with 7in. blued rifled barrel, adjustable blade rear-sight on the breech block, the air chamber stamped 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM & LONDON' and international patents to 1925, the right hand side marked 'WEBLEY AIR PISTOL MK11 (TARGET MODEL) MADE IN ENGLAND' and further international patents, frame with rotating safety catch and black hard rubber chequered grips with 'W&S' trademark to upper edge, appearing little used but with numerous small surface bruises; TOGETHER WITH its original black card carton, paper label to outside of lid depicting model and maker, the inside of lid with full instructions, the base repaired but containing an original advertisement brochure and a cleaning rod (box dirty and scuffed with rubbed corners)
