A PAIR OF 32-BORE PERCUSSION OFFICER'S PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,
probably converted from flintlock circa 1830, with browned twist-iron 8in. octagonal barrels, the top-flats signed 'MORTIMER, LONDON', dovetailed bead fore-sights, engraved hooked breechblocks and engraved top-tangs, bevel-edged scroll engraved step-tailed locks with engraved hammers and sliding safes, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, horn fore-end tips, pineapple finials and iron stirrup captive ramrods
