circa 1850, with re-blued octagonal 6 1/2in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'A.V. LEBEDA', the breech-end signed 'P.J. FAGARD BREVETE', dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch at breech, plain re-blued cylinder with a wide engraved band of American scrolls around the centre, borderline and scroll engraved open frame with spurred side-hammer and push button safe, chequered walnut one-piece grip (some worm) with carved ebony cap, scroll engraved trigger-guard bow, wedge style take-down and no provision for loading lever; TOGETHER WITH its makers black leatherette-covered presentation box (losses to covering) lined in maroon velvet in the Continental style, the inside of the padded lid with gold-blocked lettering 'P.J. FAGARD LUTYCH'
