A GOOD .44 PERCUSSION SIX-SHOT REVOLVER, MODEL 'CENTER HAMMER ARMY', serial no. 198,
for 1861-62, with blued, round, 7 1/2in. two-stage barrel, plain blued cylinder with angular nipple-shields, plain blued solid frame with frontal cylinder release and central hammer, smooth walnut grips, the left hand one with an unknown collection number plaque in aluminium applied to it (114), colour hardened hinged loading lever forming the trigger-guard, the whole retaining a good amount of original finish and colour
