Mexican, circa 1920, being a copy of a Colt Walker deliberately made to deceive, with 9in. barrel, slab-sided breech, the top signed ' ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY', the right hand side of breech with 'US' over '1847' (obscured by take down wedge securing screw), plain cylinder with roll-engraved scene, oval locking notches, plain unsigned iron frame, iron back-strap, one piece flared walnut grip, brass square-backed trigger-guard and hinged under-barrel rammer, stripped of finish, some fresh surface corrosion
