MANTON & SON PATENT', slab-sided borderline and acanthus leaf engraved dolphin headed hammers, birdseye maple half-stock (numbered to the gun), chequered at the wrist with rectangular silver escutcheon behind the top-tang, iron furniture (traces of finish) and under-barrel brass mounted mahogany ramrod
