dated for 1858, with 39in. barrel (some mild pitting to the exterior), block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' together with the date and a crown over 'VR' device to the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, brass furniture, three iron barrel-bands and jag-ended iron ramrod
