circa 1860, with blued 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, London commercial proofs, borderline engraved lock signed 'ENFIELD' (colour faded), chequered walnut three-quarter stock with borderline engraved iron furniture including heel-plate, trigger-guard and barrel-bands, borderline engraved nose-cap and iron jag-ended under-barrel cleaning rod, bayonet lug attached to right side of muzzle, the whole retaining much original finish except where noted and generally appearing little used
