circa 1845, with 23 1/2in. twist-iron barrels (professionally shortened in antiquity), the top-rib signed 'JOHN BLISSETT, 322 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON', a dogs-head engraved at breech along with twin gold lines, platinum vents, acanthus scroll engraved top-tang, borderline, scroll and gamescene engraved bar-action locks signed 'JOHN BLISSETT, LONDON' (traces of colour), chequered walnut half-stock originally fitted with a leather cheek-pad, now absent, iron furniture and shortened original ramrod
