AN 8-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED LIVE PIGEON GUN SIGNED 'P.T. WATSON', no visible serial number,
circa 1865, with round damascus 34in. barrel (some dents and other damage), moulded short sighting rib signed 'P.T. WATSON CLAYTON ST, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE' (rubbed), bead fore-sight, squared breech engraved with gamebirds to the rib-end, short scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved lock signed 'P.T. WATSON', chequered walnut half-stock with iron furniture, moulded horn fore-end tip and no provision for ramrod.
