LEMILLE, LIEGE .69 PERCUSSION RIFLED MUSKET, serial no. 4521, Belgian, circa 1861, with brushed bright 40 1/2in. barrel, applied boat-shaped fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain hump-backed lock signed 'LEMILLE A LIEGE', plain hammer, walnut three-quarter stock marked 'M.A.L.' and the serial number at heel, iron furniture, two barrel-bands and a twin-banded nose-cap, complete with iron ramrod
Other Notes: Similar rifled muskets are alleged to have been supplied by Belgium to the Confederate forces during the American Civil War
