A .650 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-PISTOL SIGNED 'TOWER', no visible serial number,
dated for 1835 and possibly produced in the colonies, with slightly tapering round 9in. iron barrel, moulded band at breech, flat-military style lock with pointed tail signed 'TOWER' and a possibly spurious 'GR' crown stamp forwards of hammer, walnut three-quarter stock with carved apron around the top-tang and a 'BO' broad arrow stamp near the heel, brass furniture and captive iron stirrup ramrod
