circa 1800, with slightly tapering round 1 5/8in. barrel, engraved band at muzzle and join, round section body engraved with trophies and signed 'H. NOCK' on the left and 'LONDON' on the right beneath the rain-proof pan, central hammer with sliding safe to the top-tang, twin rollers to the frizzen, chequered walnut bag-shaped butt with silver diamond-shaped escutcheon to the wrist, and folding automatic trigger
